The Plan of Salvation
Look at the world around you. Some would say it all got here by happenstance and evolution. But the intricacies of the leaf on a tree, the function of air and water, our very bodies are wonders of detailed engineering, crafted with love.
Consider then that the creator of all of this realized that this world had been corrupted by evil and disobediance to Him. Because He crafted us with love, He decided to offer a road back to Him. He will not force this plan on us, though. We have to choose this masterful plan He has provided.
All we have to do is accept that HE loved us enough to send something, someone HE valued so much to redeem us back to Him. We simply follow Romans 10:9-10 and accept the Lord Jesus into our hearts.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Romans 10: 9-10
You can pray this simple prayer:
Lord Jesus,
I am a sinner. I know I need you in my life. I now confess with my mouth that you are Lord. I accept and believe in my heart that you came, lived and died and that God raised you from the dead. I have come to accept and believe that you went through much suffering just because you loved ME! Come into my heart right now. I accept you as the Lord and Savior of my life. Teach me your will and your way and I will live for you the rest of my days.
I thank you, Lord that you have accepted me into your Family!
